Welcome to Tessa's Kennel
My name is Tessa and this is my family. I have three awesome kiddos and a great man that helps me tremendously. We live on a small farm now on 3 acres with a large pole barn. Once the renovations are done, I will be able to board, rescue, and train dogs as well.

For those that do not know me personally, I have been in healthcare since 2007. I obtained my LPN in 2012 and have been a practicing nurse ever since. I have worked in several different settings throughout the years, but corrections would probably be my favorite. Not only did I gain a new found respect for correctional officers, I also started a life with one. My officer is also a Marine, so this is why I give anyone with these backgrounds $200 off.

My Pack
At Tessa's Kennel my pack will always be just that. Mine. My dogs are not just a "business" purchase to me, and even though I understand why other breeders do re-home adults, I just do not have the heart to do it. If a dog does not pass any health testing, has horrible behaviors, an unpredictable demeanor, physical traits that I do not like, or they simply retire, they will always stay with me. Due to this my breeding stock will stay small.

Not everyone will get a puppy from me
As a breeder it is my responsibility to ensure that every puppy finds a loving and safe home. If I feel like you are not a fit for one of my puppies, then you will not be permitted to purchase one.
Your puppy needs you
Once your new puppy leaves my kennel he/she is solely relying on you for all care. As a new puppy owner it is your responsibility to ensure proper socializing, adequate food, age appropriate vet visits, and a safe environment. A puppy is just like a growing child in the sense that their joints are not fully connected. Rough play, frequent jumping, or jumping from high distances can injure a growing puppy.
